                                                  Today I have been doing my times tables.

My rocket Ship Adventure.

My rocket ship has a green and black thruster that flames heaps of red orange and yellow fire. The top bit of the rocket ship has a teddy bear hat and the body of the ship has a team picture on and there are three windows where they can see outer space. The body colour is orange yellow and blue. My rockets super powers are when I am hungry tell it to get me food that is yummy.

I use the little ipad that is stuck buy the door to get inside my rocket ship. In the ipad it tells me to do my password so I can get inside. When I get inside my rockets lights turn on and then it starts for take off. Then my rocket counts down from 10 to 0 so I can blast off into space.  10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 blast off… When the rocket ship blasts  into space all of its flames and gases come out and it made smoke while blasting into space.

On my  trip that I am going to is a planet called Mars.  When I go to Mars I can see heaps of tall mountains. When I see those tall mountains I try to find the tallest mountain of them all. When I find the tallest one it was called the Olympic mon. The thing  it's like in space is that there is no gravity there and there are planets Stars  the Sun and the Moon.

Cross country.

It is important to remember to catch your reader’s attention when you are writing and to hold it using descriptive details that are interesting.

Spend some time thinking about how you felt at the beginning of the Cross Country race, while you were waiting for Mr. Burt to yell “GO!”

Using this sentence starter, begin writing here:

As I stood at the starting line, waiting for Mr. Burt to yell “Go,”  I felt as if…  The feel that I was feeling was that I was going to come last in the race. When Mr. Burt yelled go all of the year four boys ran so that they could reach to the end to finish the big long race. When we were running we had to follow a year 8 to the end and we had to run in the middle of the field. After running in the field we ran behind the golf-post and then run on the side of the field. When we were running on the side we went frew the green gate and then ran to the the all most to the beach. While we were running there were teachers around us so we don’t get hurt. After that when we were almost at the finish line I came 7th place.
