My year in room 15

In my year in Room 15 I have enjoyed going to the amazing swimming pools and going to the cool makerspace and having iPads. I love my teacher because she is one of the most amazing teachers. I like my new friends because they are kind amazing and awesome. They always care about me and they sometimes play with me. I like how my awesome teacher gave me free time on my iPad. My awesome and amazing teachers name is a kind of funny but I like it. It is Mrs Belt. She is amazing and awesome because she lets us play games outside. I like Room 15 because they always help me sometimes be kind to me and and my favourite part is when Room 15 plays with our amazing awesome teacher Mrs Belt and doing kapa haka.

Scratch

Once upon a time there was a tiger. The tiger was looking for food. When he was looking for food he saw a lion and started to go so he can eat him. When he was

running to eat the lion the lion saw him and started to run to the city. When they were

running to the city the lion saw a tower and ran inside. Then he ran up the stairs and

he was trying to find a room so he can hide. After looking for a room he found a

room and ran inside. After he ran inside he saw a window and ran to it. When he ran

to the window he saw the sky tower. After that he ran downstairs and then he saw

the tiger and ran so fast away from the tower. When the tiger was looking for the

lion. He heard the lion and ran to get him. When the lion was running he ran back

to the forest. When the tiger was looking for the lion the tiger busters came looking

for any tigers around. Then they saw the tiger and started to get him. After that they

got him and toke him and putted him in the tiger jail.

Milkshakes

Last Friday room fifteen were making milkshakes. Our teacher was Mrs Teleso.

When we were making milkshakes we needed milk peaches and ice cream.

When we were done putting the ingredients in we had to mix it. We mixed the 

ingredients with the electric blender. After that we went outside and then we 

drank the milkshake.

Making mousse

What ingredients did we need to make mousse?

Milk mousse cups and spoons.

What happened when we added the ingredients?

When we put the mousse powder inside the milk 

it stayed on the top. But when we mixed it the 

mousse and the milk started to dissolved.

What did we learn?

We learned how to make mousse

and how to make solid to liquid.

Athletics

On Friday it was Athletics day. When it was Athletics day our teacher was Mrs Moala .

The year 3 boys were from Room 15 and Room 27. The first game that we played with Mrs Moala was shot put with bouncy balls and soft balls. Me and Ozzy came first when we threw the bouncy balls. After that game we moved over to volleyball and then we moved over to my favourite part, the high jump. When we were at the high jump m, Ozzy, Kitione, Devante and Teingoa were the champions at it.

Holidays

On the holidays me and my family went to our cousins house. After that we had a sleepover with them. We had so much fun because we get to stay for two days.

On the second day we went outside and played on their trampoline. Me and 

the others were playing rugby. My little brother was playing with the other little kids.

My second little brother was playing rugby with us. Me and the big people were playing at the back yard. I got to be in my oldest team. After that our mum came to

pick us up. After our mum picked us up we all were home. After that day we get to 

go McDolnolds. When we were finished eating McDolnolds we went to go and visit 

our grandma that was dead. Then after visiting our grandma we went back home.

The cave

Once upon a time there was a spooky smelly cave that had a lot of small and big bats inside the smelly cave. There was a big hungry bear. The big hungry bear can talk.

The bats could talk to. The big hungry bear was a sleep. There was 5 grown ups they 

went to hunt the bear down. The big hungry bear did not know that 5 grown ups was going to hunt him down. When the big bear did not Know the 5 grown ups was going to hunt him down the big hungry bear set some traps with his friend. But after they set the traps the hunters came. One of the hunters came he got trap from the Bears 

trap. Then the person that got trapped the big hungry bear ate him. Then the bats came and chased the hunters away from the big smelly cave and one of the hunters 

said go away go away please and the bats said no!.

Let's go eels

Yesterday room 15 went to assembly and there was two special visitors that came to pt England.

When they were here they were talking about eels. They talked about not throwing rubbish like plastic bags in the river.

Amazing sentences

The super kind woman went carefully to the lovely beach.

The incredibly friendly boy safely kicked the amazing ball.

The cute smart dog slowly eat the super beautiful cake.

The young happy girl walked to the huge pools.

The helpful rich fat friends saw the orange, red sunrise.

Valerie Adams

In 2016 there was a game called shop put. When it was time for the game

to start Valerie Adams was ready to do some shot put. When it was her 

turn she was nervous because she thought that she was going to get the silver medal. Then it was her turn to hold the heavy ball so she can 

throw it. Then she throw the ball and it landed over 20 metres.

Sportsmanship

Once upon a time there was a big race. When it was time for the race they

all of the people went. When they all went there were two girls that was

coming first and second. When they were running one of the girls knee hurt.

The first girl that hurt her knee was the USA girl. Then the New Zealand girl

came up to her and said get up get up because you need to finish this Then the New Zealand girl helped the USA girl to get up. When the New Zealand girl helped the USA girl up the New Zealand girls nea hurt.

then when the New Zealand girls nea hurt the USA girl helped her up

and they both went past the finish line.

The race

When there was a cross country race at pt England all of the year 3 and

the year 4s 5s 6s and the year 7s got ready to run. When it was time for the race Mr Moran said who's sitting nicely and then he was picking whose line is going first. Then he chose my line and my line went. When we were having the race I felt nervous. I felt nervous because I think  that I might fall down on the ground. Then I kept running and II came to Mrs Belt. Mrs Belt

said you are my champion Joseph. Then I was proud so I kept running.

Then I came to Mr Moran. When I came to Mr Moran he said keep running. So I went over for another run.  At the end me and Ozzy came first a tie.

Mahe Drysdale

Mahe Drysdale went to rio 2016 for the Olympic games. In his rowing game

he won the gold shiny  medal. The race was so close that he had a photo

finish.

The Olympic flag

favourite colours are red and blue. I am a champion at running.

Ancient Olympic

In 776 bc the ancient Olympic first started in Greece. They were held at

arena made out of stone. They were doing boxing chariot racing and

marathon and also mule racing. They banned it in 791 AD.

The Olympic flame

Today room fifteen was learning about the Olympic torch to flame.

I like the Olympic flame because we were watching a movie and

I liked the part when they were in the water with it. I liked the thing that

had the Olympic inside of it. But my favourite part was when they put 

the Olympic flame on the bow and arrow and shot the Olympic flame

on the cauldron. I like the part when they shot the Olympic flame

on the cauldron and the cauldron burnt.

Immersion assembly

Today me and room fifteen went  to Immersion assembly. When they were there

me and my little brother came to late. Then we threw our bag on 

the ground. Then me and my brother went to our class and sate on the ground.

Then all of the classic started to all of the movies that we made.

My favourite part was team 3 and team 2. But my best one was team 3 

and it was called family feud. It was fun.

Art gallery

Today Room fifteen went to the art gallery. We were lining up by the pol.when we were there

Room eight came and to be our buddies. When we were done we went to the art gallery.

when we were all inside me and my buddies went and took a picture of a big big bout.

It was so cool because me and my buddies went inside that big house.

And inside it there were lights in it.
